Yes. Fiberglass absorbs very little water and won't crack even in freezing temperatures. That's why we offer a 10-year frost-proof guarantee*. It's important to make sure the water can drain out through the drainage holes.
Yes. Our fiberglass planters are up to 70% lighter than concrete or stone containers—even when filled with plants, they’re easy to move around.
No. The surface is part of the material itself and is not a separate coat of paint. It is UV-resistant and colorfast, even in intense sunlight.
Yes. To make the container watertight on the inside, use a flexible plastic liner from our store or pond liner from a home improvement store. The liners come in 18 sizes; choose one that’s slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the container. You’ll find ideas and all the information you need on our Indoor Planters page.
Each container is handcrafted in our workshop. Minor variations in color and texture are to be expected and make each piece one-of-a-kind.
