Planting & Care Instructions
To ensure you enjoy your ESCHBACH planters for a long time, we recommend that you observe the following instructions:
Place the planter in a location where rainwater, watering water, or meltwater can drain freely from the sides under the base of the container. Ensure the surface is hard and level. Since the container, along with the soil and plant, will be heavy to move, it is advisable to select the desired location beforehand and position the container there in advance.

Before planting, line the bottom of the container with fleece or wire mesh to reliably prevent the holes in the bottom of the container from becoming clogged with potting soil, expanded clay or other material.

Then fill the planting container with a drainage layer at least 5cm thick, e.g. made of expanded clay or gravel.

Now cover this layer with planting fleece. This prevents the soil from being washed away and the roots from growing into the drainage layer.

Only then should you fill the planting container with suitable potting soil.

Do not apply excessive pressure to the container during cleaning. |

Never lift a planted container filled with soil and, if applicable, water, by the rim. The rim can tear due to the weight. |
